The foundation aims to promote charitable, philanthropic, and humanitarian activities both domestically and internationally, particularly in Israel and the Jewish Diaspora, but also worldwide. Specifically, the foundation supports projects in the areas of welfare, healthcare, aid for the blind, disaster relief, integration and cultural understanding, as well as interreligious dialogue. In addition, the foundation can promote projects for the protection of animals and the prevention of animal suffering. The foundation can achieve these purposes through financial contributions to recognized charitable organizations or institutions with similar objectives. It can also implement its own projects or enter into cooperations with suitable partners. The foundation is charitable, does not pursue any commercial purposes, and does not aim for profit. The foundation is primarily internationally active according to its purpose and is subject to the federal foundation supervision in Bern.
