The purpose of the foundation is to provide for the beneficiaries designated in § 1 who have fallen into need through no fault of their own and require one-time or repeated support. However, upon decision of the Family Council, assistance for education and training expenses, as well as endowment upon marriage, etc. may also be granted, but only if the financial situation of the applicants justifies it. In exceptional cases, one-time support may also be granted to individuals who are not beneficiaries but are otherwise closely related to the founder's family circle (relatives) in the event of an extraordinary emergency situation.
