The foundation aims to promote effective and forward-looking approaches (also technological) for a healthy, species-rich, regenerative world, with a particular focus on a healthy coexistence of humans and nature, both in Switzerland and abroad. The foundation can specifically support projects and initiatives that develop, research, measure and implement effective solutions for climate protection and the preservation of biodiversity, contribute to constructive exchange and action against climate change. The foundation can organize its own events and implement projects or support third parties through the awarding of research contracts, the establishment of professorships, fellowship programs or scholarships, enabling and implementing initiatives of other non-profit organizations. The foundation can create, produce and promote works of artistic or scientific nature, including exhibitions, in accordance with the foundation's purpose. The foundation can establish and/or participate in other legal entities within the scope of its purpose. It can enter into cooperations with other persons and institutions, merge with other foundations, take over the assets of other persons or acquire and hold rights, land, real estate and waters. The foundation has a non-profit character. It does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes. It is politically and denominationally neutral and distances itself from activist activities.
