The Foundation, a non-profit organization, promotes knowledge and the dissemination of the Arabic language and cultures, fosters coexistence and intercultural dialogue, and encourages an informed understanding of religious facts in an academic and pluralistic approach. To this end, it carries out training, research, study, and dissemination activities, provides educational support and intercultural mediation, organizes cultural events and study programs, and cooperates with institutions with similar objectives when it directly serves the statutory purpose. The Foundation is politically neutral and acts in respect of fundamental rights, the dignity of each person, and equality of treatment, with prudent and transparent governance. In pursuit of its objectives, the Foundation operates in Switzerland and abroad and does not aim for any profit.
