To preserve and promote the humanitarian and environmental interests supported by the FXB Global network and its entities worldwide, focusing its efforts on major crises of our time, such as: abandoned children, the consequences of climate change, extreme poverty, migrations, and global pandemics. It aims to provide concrete assistance to the most vulnerable populations, particularly children and women. The Foundation is committed to raising generations of children forgotten by society to extract them from extreme poverty so that they can, as adults, integrate into economic life, undertake and prosper. It aims to support all vulnerable communities around the world by helping them to access their fundamental rights and achieve sustainable economic self-sufficiency in order to be able to raise their children with dignity. It works to durably change the situation of vulnerable people, shift the lines, eradicate the roots of evil with examples of good civil governance, by filling the gaps left by governments. To achieve this ideal, the Foundation acts as an ethical and decision-making committee for the national entities of FXB, defining their strategic orientations and supervising the actions and missions carried out locally. In particular, the Foundation ensures compliance with the membership charter (the "Charter"), by which the various entities of FXB and François-Xavier Bagnoud commit to working in a coordinated manner in the service of the ideal pursued by the Foundation. It exercises, in this capacity, a control mission both nationally and locally on the affiliated entities, their projects, their partnerships, actions and missions. The Foundation is responsible for collecting and allocating funds intended to support FXB's humanitarian actions around the world, in addition to the collection and financing initiatives by the various FXB entities at the local level. The Foundation will have the faculty to participate in the financing of university research centers on the model of the FXB Centers integrated into the universities of Harvard, Michigan and Rutgers, which allow research related to the implementation of its programs in the field. The Foundation represents and supports the action of the various entities in relations with other structures or organizations. In accordance with the purpose pursued, the Foundation deploys its activity all over the world and mainly in Switzerland, the United States, France, Africa and Asia. The Foundation does not have a profitable purpose, any hypothetical income it could generate would be intended to finance the general expenses and the projects of the Foundation.
