The company's purpose, within the limits of the Foreign Investment in Real Property Act (FIRPTA), is the acquisition, development, construction, renovation, operation, leasing, and sale of any real estate. The company may, as a secondary purpose, both in Switzerland and abroad, create branches or subsidiaries, participate in other companies that have a direct or indirect relationship with its purpose, acquire or establish them, in general, carry out all financial, commercial, or industrial activities, whether movable or immovable, that promote its development and that are directly or indirectly related to its purpose, handle these transactions for itself or on behalf of third parties, as a representative, agent, or commissioner, or have them executed on its behalf by third parties, grant leases, act as guarantor for loans subscribed by shareholders or third parties, guarantee these loans by the issuance or pledging of mortgage securities or by the subscription of any other financial commitment.
