The purpose of the MONING FOUNDATION is to promote the artistic work of unknown and deserving young artists as well as contemporaries of Hans-Jörg Moning in Switzerland and abroad. To achieve this exclusively charitable purpose, the foundation can organize, commission, or support permanent or temporary exhibitions and forums for exchange. It can organize, host, and support public exhibitions (physical or digital) featuring works by contemporary artists in need of support. After the death of Hans-Jörg Moning, the foundation's purpose also includes promoting his artistic work and his art collection. Art trading in the strict sense is explicitly excluded. The foundation further supports charitable, tax-exempt organizations in the fields of art and young talent promotion, culture, and digital art. To this end, it can collaborate with art universities. The board of the foundation is free to decide how to allocate the funds. There is no obligation to pursue all the mentioned purposes or to support the pursued purposes equally. The foundation is charitable and does not pursue any commercial interests. It is politically and denominationally neutral. In pursuit of its purposes, the foundation can acquire, dispose of, and manage real estate and land as well as participations in Switzerland and abroad.
