The purpose of the company is to acquire, hold, manage, sell and finance participations in domestic and foreign companies of all kinds. The company may establish branches abroad, found subsidiaries and participate in other companies and businesses at home and abroad. The company may acquire, hold, manage, exploit and sell real estate and intellectual property rights at home and abroad. The company may carry out all commercial, financial and other activities that appear suitable for developing the company or promoting its purpose, or that are directly or indirectly related to it. It may also provide financing for its own account or for the account of third parties and grant direct or indirect financing to its direct or indirect subsidiaries (as well as to third parties), provide security of all kinds (including by way of pledge, fiduciary transfer or assignment of the company's assets) or guarantees for its own liabilities and those of its subsidiaries, enter into sureties or otherwise secure or guarantee the obligations of such subsidiaries, whether for consideration or not. Furthermore, it may operate a liquidity balancing/concentration of net liquidity (cash pooling) with its subsidiaries or join such a system, including periodic account balancing. This also applies under preferential conditions without interest, excluding the company's profit motive and assuming cluster risks.
