To promote the transfer of technologies in the field of plastics engineering between educational and research institutions and the economy, as well as between companies themselves; to provide an interface and technological consulting function for the benefit of companies; to conduct research and development in polymers and composites with a practical focus and make available to the economy the development, construction, testing and testing laboratories of the Saint-Imier School of Engineering, in agreement with the latter; to contribute to the general reputation of the Saint-Imier School of Engineering in its activities related to polymer materials; to promote rational management of human and material resources in innovation and technology transfer; to develop and improve continuing education in the field of polymers and composites. In particular, the association will work to establish cross-border training in the field of polymers and composites; to provide information, documentation and didactic support to its members; to collaborate closely with private companies in the permanent pursuit of their interests related to plastics engineering. The association develops and maintains close contacts with: the Saint-Imier School of Engineering, other educational and research institutions (Swiss HES), cantonal economic promotion agencies, the Fernand Léger Professional High School in Audincourt, the University of Savoie through the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of its IUT, and technology transfer for the plastics industry in France.
