The Company's purpose is to invest in, acquire, hold and manage (acquire, hold and dispose of) participations in Swiss or foreign companies, excluding any operations prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Foreigners (LFAIE). The Company may carry out all commercial, financial, real estate (excluding any operations prohibited by the LFAIE), movable and conclude all contracts having a direct or indirect connection with its purpose and promoting its development. Furthermore, it may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad and acquire, hold, administer and dispose of real estate (in Switzerland, exclusively commercial-use properties) and intellectual property. The Company may also grant loans or any other form of financing to affiliated companies, as well as provide any type of security, for the direct or indirect benefit of affiliated companies (or third parties), in particular in the form of guarantees, pledges or fiduciary transfers of the Company's assets.
