The foundation aims to promote education, training and further education, as well as the promotion of art and culture in the broadest sense, particularly in the city and canton of Zurich. To achieve its purpose, the foundation can take all measures that serve to promote and implement the foundation's purpose, including awarding scholarships, organizing exhibitions, holding competitions, awarding art prizes, making properties available at preferential conditions, etc. It can provide financial or material support to individual persons, projects, existing organizations or institutions. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purposes, has a non-profit character and does not aim to make a profit. It is politically and denominationally neutral. Within the framework of its purpose, the foundation can take all permissible measures in consultation with the supervisory authority, in particular establish other legal entities or trusts, regardless of whether they have legal personality, establish branches or subsidiaries, merge with other foundations, take over the assets of other legal entities, cooperate with or manage other legal entities. The founder reserves the right to change the purpose in accordance with Art. 86a of the Swiss Civil Code.
