The cooperative aims to publish print and other works in a favorable manner, which have little chance of publication on the usual market, through joint self-help of its members; to develop suitable production and distribution procedures; and to shape marketing favorably. It supports authors and artists in general and ensures them an adequate compensation for their performance, in particular through: favorable entry costs for the publication of their works; the purchase of products for the cooperative members; the sale of products to the cooperative members; the preservation of the interests of the cooperative members in joint self-help; the promotion of the economic, social, legal, and cultural ideals and interests of the members in general; the implementation of courses, training sessions, seminars, and information events; the coordination of business policy, objectives, and activities of all companies, organizations, and foundations cooperating with the cooperative - while maintaining their autonomy; the joint management and marketing of rights (in particular authors' rights) to works developed by members or the cooperative; and the promotion, in particular of publications, and communication among members. 2. The cooperative provides advice to members and third parties on all matters, in particular legal matters, related to copyright. 3. The cooperative may also acquire real estate. 4. The cooperative may also restructure members in financial difficulties and take all necessary measures on behalf of the member as needed. In these cases, a restructuring plan is agreed upon with the member. 5. It maintains, in particular, a fund to support and restructure cooperative members and a support fund for cooperative members in retirement and issues the necessary regulations (Fund for Old-Age and Hardship Cases). 6. The cooperative may take over the administration and payment transactions for other companies on behalf of the client. 7. The cooperative is politically and denominationally neutral.
