The sale, purchase, supply, disposal, trading (including physical and derivative products) and risk management activities, such as hedging, storage and management of hydrocarbon products or related products. The company may create, acquire, dissolve or transfer subsidiaries, companies, joint ventures, partnerships, assets or branches, provide labor and enter into contractual relationships. The company may also hold interests in any companies. The company may acquire, hold, encumber and dispose of real estate (provided that if real estate is located in Switzerland, it may only have an exclusively commercial use) and intellectual property rights. The company may carry out all commercial, financial or other operations, including maritime transport activities, which are directly or indirectly related to its corporate purpose. The company may grant loans and other direct or indirect financing to group companies and third parties, including its shareholders (direct and indirect) and companies of their groups, including within the framework of centralized cash management agreements (cash pooling), and provide collateral of all types for their commitments, including through pledges or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets or guarantees of all types, for consideration or not, of indemnification or guarantee contracts. The company may borrow, raise funds and guarantee the payment of funds, as well as accept, withdraw, make, create, issue, execute, discount, endorse, negotiate and distribute debentures, securities or bonds and any other instrument or title (excluding all operations subject to authorization).
