Establishment of an umbrella organization of Islamic organizations to represent common Islamic-religious concerns and interests in Switzerland. The association pursues the following goals: Acts as a contact for Islamic interests vis-à-vis the public in Switzerland and represents the concerns of its member organizations, insofar as it is mandated to do so by them; Promotion of the interests of its member organizations; Promotion of the participation and representation of all unorganized Muslims, especially families, women, young people, and children, in active co-design and self-administration in Switzerland; Establishment and operation of Muslim social services and an Islamic infrastructure in Switzerland, such as providing religious education in schools, performing social work, and enabling the dignified burial of Muslims; Organization and accompaniment of Muslim pilgrimages to Mecca. For optimal advice, coordination, and cost-effective booking of the destinations of pilgrim-willing Muslims, the association operates a travel agency subordinate to it in a commercial manner; Promotion of interfaith cooperation and dialogue readiness with other religious institutions in Switzerland; Fulfillment of further tasks assigned to the association by its members.
