Albanisch-Islamisches Kultur Zentrum Oberwallis

The purpose is to assist all Muslims residing in Switzerland in the practice of the Islamic religion. It aims to deepen the faith of Muslims in particular. Members are to be led to serve their fellow human beings. To achieve these goals, it undertakes to the extent possible: - To appoint an Imam (prayer leader, teacher, lecturer, mortician, caregiver for the sick); - Is authorized to invite qualified specialists from Switzerland or other countries; - To organize and conduct seminars, lectures, discussion events, and conferences. It promotes the cultural and religious education of Islamic citizens in Switzerland and works with other religious organizations in Switzerland, regardless of racial and social differences, on religious matters.
