The foundation operates exclusively for charitable purposes, promoting the idea of alleviating the distress of needy individuals by providing direct and immediate assistance, as well as services for the preservation of nature and wildlife in general. Preference is given to local projects, primarily in Switzerland and Europe. Assistance on other continents should only be provided as direct, transparent aid with end-control, such as the Monica Saiko School in Ghana. The promotion of large organizations, such as WWF, Caritas, etc. should be avoided. The foundation board shall regularly monitor projects and make adjustments according to the situation. The foundation operates internationally. The foundation is authorized to conclude all legal transactions that serve the pursuit and realization of its purpose.
