The purpose of the company is to acquire, hold, manage and sell participations in Swiss or foreign companies of all kinds, with the exception of participations in real estate, which are prohibited by the Federal Act on the Acquisition of Real Estate by Persons Abroad. The company may grant direct or indirect financing to third parties or companies in which it is directly or indirectly involved, as well as to direct or indirect shareholders or companies in which such shareholders are directly or indirectly involved, by means of loans and/or other financing. The company may provide security of any kind for its own liabilities or the liabilities of the aforementioned persons, including by means of pledges, assignments, fiduciary transfers, guarantees of any kind or by means of offset obligations, whether against payment or not, even if such financing, security or guarantees are in the exclusive interest of third parties or companies in which it is directly or indirectly involved, or of direct or indirect shareholders or companies in which such shareholders are directly or indirectly involved. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad. The company may acquire, hold or sell real estate to the extent permitted by the BewG. The company may carry out all commercial, financial and other activities that are connected with the purpose of the company.
