Financial support for people affected by poverty in emergency situations in Switzerland, especially in the regions of Toggenburg and the St.Gall Rhine Valley, regardless of their gender, origin, religion, or residence status. This financial support is intended primarily for individuals and families who, despite being employed, live at or below the subsistence level and are not sufficiently supported by state institutions. Possible goals of financial support by the association ANCIELO are (non-exhaustive): targeted relief of financially burdened people from everyday financial worries, prevention of impending debt or resolution of an existing debt situation through short-term and one-time payment of bills, such as medical or health insurance bills, enabling participation in a cultural event or in social life, as well as enabling some vacation days.
