The foundation promotes and supports non-profit activities, projects and organizations in the following areas: protection, care and support of animals, support of communities and the population in mountainous regions, protection and promotion of children and their rights, promotion of medical research as well as support of medical care and rehabilitation of people with disabilities, promotion of medical care and humanitarian emergency aid in war and crisis areas. The foundation can carry out all activities that fall within the scope of the foundation's purpose or are related to it in a material way. To fulfill its purpose, it can specifically cooperate with suitable institutions and organizations, support them or establish and operate them itself. The foundation fulfills its purpose in the whole of Switzerland and abroad. The foundation is non-profit. It does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
