The cooperative pursues the purpose of providing its members with good and affordable housing through joint self-help and co-responsibility, without engaging in speculation. It strives to offer spaces for all sections of the population. It promotes coexistence in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. The cooperative can offer spaces for commercial services in its buildings. It seeks to achieve this purpose through: a) the acquisition of building land and building rights; b) the construction and acquisition of multi-family and row houses that meet the modern cooperative housing needs; c) careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renewal of existing buildings; d) the construction of replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner; e) the use of funding instruments under the federal housing promotion law or corresponding cantonal and communal laws; f) the management and rental of apartments on the basis of cost rent; g) the promotion of cooperative activities in the settlements; h) ideal and material support for efforts aimed at affordable and good housing. The cooperative's activity is non-profit and not profit-oriented. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with the same or similar objectives. It can be a member of the Swiss Housing Cooperatives Association, Association of Non-Profit Housing Providers.
