The association aims to donate high-quality and significant literature (printed works, such as encyclopedias, catalogues raisonnés, monographs, etc.) in the field of art and art history to institutions in Switzerland and abroad, including schools, museums, art galleries, public libraries, etc. Furthermore, the association promotes education at these institutions by acquiring significant art historical literature and subsequently donating it to institutions that do not have the necessary financial resources to purchase such high-quality literature. The literature will focus on well-known artists, but also include art movements, art criticism, and other specialized publications on art history. The association operates exclusively on a non-profit basis and does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes. The organs are active on a voluntary basis. The association acts entirely charitably and does not pursue any self-interest. The literature is donated exclusively to institutions that are accessible to the general public.
