to promote and manage the development of shotgun shooting sports and related activities without political, social, racial or religious discrimination, and to strengthen the bonds of friendship between shooting associations and federations across Europe; to award titles in the disciplines for which the Association is responsible during European competitions organized under the auspices of the Association; to strengthen contacts and cooperation with other sports organizations and authorities; to promote European clay pigeon shooting competitions with shotguns; to teach the public correct behavior and effective target shooting techniques, as well as safe and effective shotgun handling; to facilitate the exchange of experience by organizing lessons, debates, conferences and courses in the field of shooting sports; to popularize knowledge about shooting sports through the mass media; to represent and defend the commercial, legal and professional interests of shooting teams; to organize and hold competition tours (series of tournaments) according to the ACSP rules, to compile the team ranking, the individual ranking of shooters in different clay pigeon shooting disciplines (trap, double trap, skeet, skeet-pro), as well as to compile the ranking of sports arms manufacturers within the framework of the Constructors' Cup; to strive for a clean and sustainable development of shooting sports. To achieve its goals, the association: publishes technical regulations in all its disciplines and ensures their application; publishes the regulation on the organization and conduct of the association's international competitions and supervises its application; qualifies international judges; publishes official bulletins and manages a constantly updated website; rewards individuals who have contributed to the achievement of the association's goals; encourages anti-doping measures; takes all necessary steps to obtain the required permits to deploy the planned activity. The association is non-profit.
