The Association aims to: facilitate and promote community research projects, in close collaboration with private companies through the permanent development of their interests; promote the transfer of technologies between educational and research institutions and industry, as well as between companies themselves; ensure an interface and technological consulting function for the benefit of companies; facilitate research and development focused on technology by promoting access to the laboratories of educational and research institutions; contribute to the general promotion of schools and academic institutions, mainly focused on microtechniques and know-how in the Arc Jurassien region; promote effective management of human and material resources in innovation and technology transfer; organize conferences, visits and other activities, particularly for its members, seeking to collaborate with other institutions. The association does not aim to conduct research or training. In case of explicit request, it will collaborate with specialized institutions, supporting them. The association develops and maintains close contacts with educational, research and development institutions (in particular with HE-Arc, HES-BE, HEIG-VD, the universities of Bern and Neuchâtel, the Swiss Innovation Park of the Arc Jurassien, CTM, EPFL and in neighboring France, establishments such as ENSMM and UTBM), economic promotion bodies of the concerned territory, representative platforms of industrial and economic circles, companies and other interested organizations.
