To enable the development of Master Deshimaru's work and teachings; to practice Zen meditation, zazen, with the aim of returning to a more authentic and less materialistic form of civilization; to study Zen philosophy; to bring Western and Eastern civilizations closer together and to strive to reconcile science and spirituality; to promote a better understanding among people, true freedom of spirit, without discrimination of race, nationality, belief and religion; to collect, acquire, rent and manage any movable and immovable property that enables the realization of the association's objectives.
