The association is non-profit and aims to research, educate and train in the field of lung diseases associated with rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases, particularly through: 1. Conducting studies and research projects. 2. Establishing a registry with information on patients with RMDs involving the lungs and related information. 3. Evaluating and funding research projects. 4. Providing training and continuing education programs. 5. Implementing awareness programs and distributing information to patients and healthcare professionals. To carry out its activities, the association relies primarily on the voluntary, direct and unpaid contributions of its members. However, the board may also employ members as employees or collaborators who work permanently or occasionally for the association. The association may pursue its activities within the framework of its statutory purposes in cooperation with other public or private institutions or merge with other institutions. The association is active internationally.
