Association Forel Heritage

In honour of limnologist François-Alphonse Forel, the Association aims to successfully carry out various research projects in collaboration with the Swiss and international scientific community, including educational projects, namely promoting the development of education, science, research, understanding and knowledge of extreme environments such as those found in polar and subpolar regions, as well as other regions of great scientific interest. In this context, the Association is responsible for the management, administration, chartering and operation of a scientific sailing vessel. It also manages the acquisition and maintenance of scientific instruments on board the vessel. The Association does not pursue any profit-making or economic purpose and does not aim to make a profit. It does not engage in any commercial activity.
