The association aims to defend, promote and disseminate the principles of fundamental freedoms, namely freedom of thought, conscience and religion, freedom of worship and freedom of expression for all, and to protect by all legitimate means not prohibited by law the right of each individual to believe or not to believe, the freedom to change convictions or religion, to practice the religion of one's choice or to practice none, and to manifest one's religion, individually or collectively, in public or in private, through the practice or accomplishment of rites. It cooperates with all actors to support respect for peace, human rights and diversity, to fight against religious intolerance, harassment and discrimination, violence and abuse of power, but also persecution and fanaticism concerning believers and non-believers.
