The purpose of the association is: a) to promote and support the development of the organized market for pharmaceutical products in the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union, and to contribute to the development of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry in the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union; b) to protect and promote the economic, legal, and technical interests of its members, to represent and advocate the common interests of its members in corporations, institutions, and organizations in the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union, and to provide services that promote the purposes of the association; c) to promote the development of the association as a new, independent umbrella organization for companies operating in the pharmaceutical industry in the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union; d) to promote and support scientific institutions, organizations, and research; e) to support publications that promote the development of pharmaceutical research, in order to improve the healthcare system in the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as the economic situation of pharmaceutical companies in the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union; f) to organize legal and other relevant support to protect the interests and rights of association members in the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union; g) to organize conferences, roundtable discussions, workshops, and lectures within the scope of interest of the association members; h) to support the professional training of employees of pharmaceutical and other companies within the framework established by the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union; i) to establish contacts with authorities, scientific and research institutions and organizations, professional associations, and other interested parties; j) to cooperate with all relevant organizations in the Russian Federation, the Eurasian Economic Union, and abroad, including exchanging information and possibly joining such organizations; k) to protect the common interests of association members in the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union; l) to create, expand, and maintain favorable conditions for the economic and other activities of association members in the Russian Federation and the Eurasian Economic Union; and m) to protect the rights of research-based pharmaceutical companies involved in the research and development of new chemical and biological molecules and active substances.
