to develop advocacy initiatives and policy research aimed at strengthening transparency, the rule of law, good governance and human rights; to build the capacity of national institutions, the legal community and civil society as a whole in the areas of the rule of law, transparency, good and sustainable governance and human rights; to provide advice on the rule of law, transparency and judicial reforms in African countries, from an African perspective; to organize communication and information dissemination initiatives on transparency and the rule of law, including seminars, conferences and other forums; to conduct research and publish findings and documents on transparency, the rule of law, good governance and human rights, in order to promote transparency and respect for the rule of law in Africa; to engage, facilitate and carry out monitoring and evaluation programs of key development initiatives and projects in African countries and beyond.
