to promote exchanges and cohesion, in particular in the scientific field, among people working within accredited Breast Centers by the Swiss Cancer League and the Swiss Senology Society and established in French-speaking Switzerland (hereinafter CDS), as well as to promote research and training in the field of senology. It also aims to ensure the defense of the legitimate interests of its members. To this end, it may, inter alia, but not exclusively: a) organize conferences, seminars, and continuing education for the medical, paramedical, and any interested person; b) set up regional knowledge exchange projects to promote interactions between CDS, particularly between centers attached to a public medical institution and those attached to a private medical institution; c) support research programs related to senology; d) support programs or projects dedicated to patients followed by CDS; e) safeguard and promote the general rights and interests of its members and, in this context, take a public and/or official position on any topic related to its activity, in particular in the context of legislative consultation procedures or popular votes, or, if necessary, through judicial proceedings. The association does not pursue any lucrative purpose.
