Association Suisse contre la Pédiculose du Cuir Chevelu - ASPCC

The association's mission is to be the reference organization and Swiss expert in the prevention and control of head lice infestations. To achieve this goal, the association deploys and utilizes the following skills: organizing and conducting prevention and/or detection actions within public and private communities; setting up conferences and providing consulting sessions to public and private institutions; training healthcare and education personnel in detection and management procedures in case of head lice infestation or epidemic; informing and raising awareness among the population about the problem of head lice and existing treatments; recognizing head lice infestation as a public health issue at the political and national level; collaborating with head lice, health, and scientific research specialists; analyzing, testing, promoting, and marketing curative and preventive products against head lice.
