The study and dissemination of advances in gynecology, obstetrics and reproductive medicine, to be achieved through: the organization of the biennial international congress and participation in the organization of the biennial Alice & Albert Netter Days event; increasing contacts between gynecology, obstetrics and reproductive medicine specialists in European countries; promoting and disseminating clinical and biological research in the field; the contribution of its members to teaching and disseminating culture in gynecology, obstetrics and reproductive medicine; organizing, preparing, holding and participating in international and national meetings and congresses, schools and courses on the topics relevant to the Association's purpose; promoting the exchange of research projects and experiences among individual members of the Association; participating and cooperating with other entities, associations or groups with similar or related objectives; establishing a platform for disseminating viewpoints. To achieve this goal, in addition to organizing congresses, symposia, working groups, the Association may use a website and send newsletters. The Association will also support the publication of books, journals and articles related to these objectives and other multimedia products. The Association takes over and continues all activities of the non-profit association Société Européenne de Gynécologie (SEG) based in Paris, not registered in the commercial register, known as European Society of Gynecology (ESG) in international relations.
