The organization, promotion and production of cultural and artistic activities aimed at realizing annual literary days. To this end, it organizes and manages seminars, selected meetings, workshops, presentations of literary works and translations, exhibitions, conferences, debates, educational and professional training activities as well as events of all kinds aimed at achieving and disseminating its cultural and artistic objectives. The organization and realization of an annual "Ascona-Enrico Filippini Prize". The organization and production, in the specific field of promoting literature, of collateral events and entertainment events aimed at bringing literary culture closer to the general public through the public presentation of works and public readings in theaters, squares, bookstores, libraries, public establishments and other places in the Locarnese region, as well as the creation of a book market. The revival of tourist activity through the offer of cultural and artistic activities related to literature in general. The association will make use, in particular, of the spaces and structures of Monte Verità in Ascona to design, create cultural projects and events, with particular attention to the enhancement of cultural concepts and historical prestige as "South of a North and North of the South, border line between cultures and worlds" and its characteristics as a laboratory and research place. The association may also, exclusively for the purpose of contributing to the realization of its goals: promote cultural exchanges with other associations, entities or organizations with similar purposes; conclude contracts and agreements with public and private entities for the organization and realization of cultural events; carry out any other activity, in compliance with the institutional purposes and statutory objectives, which are considered useful for achieving the social purpose. The association will also collaborate with the Locarno International Film Festival Association, Locarno, which will produce it, for the organization of the event called "L'immagine e la parola", a event dedicated to cinema and literature that will take place annually.
