GabriJ pursues ideal goals, without profit-making purposes, and sets the following objectives: - Organizing and managing an entity active in the fight against domestic violence against adults, understood as all acts of physical, sexual, psychological or economic violence that occur within the family or family unit or between current or former spouses or partners, regardless of whether the perpetrator of such acts shares or has shared the same residence with the victim. - Promoting and implementing awareness campaigns and/or programs to increase public awareness and understanding of the various manifestations of all forms of domestic violence and their consequences, as well as the need to prevent them. - Promoting actions to include in school programs educational materials on topics such as gender equality, non-stereotyped gender roles, mutual respect, non-violent conflict resolution in interpersonal relationships, gender-based violence against women, and the right to personal integrity, suitable for the cognitive level of students. - Providing adequate training for professionals dealing with victims or perpetrators of all acts of domestic violence on prevention and identification of such violence, equality between women and men, needs and rights of victims, and how to prevent secondary victimization. - Providing physical and psychological help and support to victims of domestic violence. - Other activities directly and indirectly related to the indicated purposes and their financing. GabriJ intends, among other things, - To organize periodic and regular meetings, events and/or encounters to raise public awareness of the issue. - To support proposals and projects of other associations or individuals that pursue similar goals.
