The association's purpose, representing a branch of START InSight Sagl, is to study and disseminate topics directly and indirectly related to the socio-political phenomena of extremism (violent) and radicalization, with the goal of promoting awareness and understanding of these processes and their contexts, field research; the realization, on its own or in collaboration with associations, entities, realities, and public and private institutions in Switzerland and abroad, of projects and initiatives for prevention and counteraction (PVE) of a socio-educational, cultural, academic, or other nature; the enhancement of multidisciplinary collaborative networks; the realization of activities that promote the values of integration and intercultural exchange, social cohesion; providing support in mediation and conflict resolution. To this end, it organizes, coordinates, and/or participates in conferences, training courses, seminars, research projects, and prevention and mediation activities; it can publish books and articles, produce films, documentaries, and/or other audiovisual materials, and release interviews.
