To disseminate the concept of Clinical Aromatherapy through information, awareness and training of the population, health professionals and political authorities. To support the development and improvement of Clinical Aromatherapy services. To promote education, quality and research in the field of Clinical Aromatherapy. To facilitate networking among organizations, schools, health professionals, active in Switzerland and abroad, interested in Clinical Aromatherapy. To promote international contacts and contribute to interdisciplinary reflections. To collaborate with clinics, hospitals, nursing homes and care facilities for the development of Clinical Aromatherapy. To encourage the development of high standards of education and promote well-trained professionals in Clinical Aromatherapy. To encourage high professional standards of ethics and integrity in education and practice of Aromatherapy. To promote cooperation between Aromatherapy practitioners and other health professionals. To produce and promote educational materials in Clinical Aromatherapy. To promote research and knowledge of the therapeutic use of medicinal aromatic plants and essential oils. To increase awareness of the benefits of using Aromatherapy. To participate in the creation and subsequent organization of a National Council of Swiss Aromatherapy schools to identify and clarify standards for national certification of education. To maintain a list of Aromatherapy practitioners and professionals represented by the Association. To carry out any other activity connected with the purposes of the Association and activities decided by the Board. To achieve these goals, the association may carry out all activities connected or accessory to those statutory, as instrumental to the same, provided they are not incompatible with its nature as an association and are carried out within the limits allowed by law. The association may enter into any contract or agreement considered necessary and useful for the achievement of the statutory purposes, including, but not limited to, borrowing, short-term or long-term loans, purchasing or renting movable or immovable property, and may carry out any operation instrumental to the pursuit of the purpose, including those of an economic and financial nature, provided that they do not assume a prevailing character over the main activity.
