The association is non-profit and aims to support and promote the cultural work carried out by Michel Poletti for over thirty years in the field of theatre and the performing arts in general, in his capacity as a creative artist and cultural promoter, through: a) the preservation of the memory, spirit, and cultural heritage of what was achieved in Ticino by Michel Poletti together with his wife Michèle from 1969 to 1994 through the creation of original theatrical performances with puppets and other theatrical techniques, the dissemination of Animation Theatre in Italian-speaking Switzerland, the organization of reviews such as the International Marionette Festival, the reopening and management of the Teatro San Materno in Ascona, and other significant initiatives for the cultural scene of the Canton; b) moral, administrative, and logistical support for the initiatives undertaken by Michel Poletti from 1995 onwards, and in particular for the theatrical performances of the "Théâtre Antonin Artaud - Compagnie Michel Poletti"; c) moral, administrative, and logistical support for the new initiatives that Michel Poletti may undertake from 1999 onwards to make a further contribution to the cultural scene.
