The acquisition, long-term holding and sale of participations in Swiss and foreign companies active in any sector. The company may directly or indirectly, for payment or free of charge, finance group companies and grant guarantees in favor of group companies. The company may open branches in Switzerland and abroad and establish subsidiary companies as well as participate in companies. The company is authorized, in Switzerland and abroad, to acquire commercial establishments/hotels, encumber them, sell them and manage them, within the limitations provided by the Federal Law on the acquisition of real estate by foreigners. Furthermore, the company may conduct all activities related to the development of the company and the promotion of its purpose. The company may not engage in activities prohibited by the directives of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), cf. RBI/2014-15/2 Master Circular No. 11/2014-15 dated July 01, 2014 (amended up to 6.5.2015) regarding direct investments by residents in joint ventures/wholly owned subsidiaries abroad. In particular, the company may not acquire and sell real estate or trade in transferable development rights. The company may not engage in banking activities nor offer financial products related to Indian Rupees (e.g. foreign exchange trading, Rupee exchange, stock indices related to the Indian market, etc.).
