The purpose of the foundation is to provide support to people living in Kilchberg, Zurich, who are in difficult financial circumstances. The details are regulated in a regulation issued by the foundation board. The beneficiaries are to be individuals who have their domicile in Kilchberg, Zurich, and for whom one of the following conditions applies: they are in difficult financial circumstances, e.g. have no income or only receive old-age pension and supplementary benefits; have fallen into need through no fault of their own; or have suffered a severe stroke of fate and have fallen into financial difficulties as a result. By unanimous decision of the foundation board, contributions can also be made to organizations, associations, etc. based in Kilchberg. However, the allocation of these contributions must be earmarked, i.e. the benefited organization or association must use the contributions in accordance with paragraph 1.
