The purpose of the Company is to participate in companies and enterprises of any kind and essentially to manage its participations on a long-term basis. The Company may open branches and subsidiaries. The Company may acquire, own or sell commercial real estate and intellectual property rights. The Company may engage in any industrial, commercial and financial activity as well as any other activity directly or indirectly related to its purpose or object. The Company may, vis-à-vis third parties or companies in which it participates directly or indirectly, as well as shareholders of companies in which they participate directly or indirectly, grant credits and/or other forms of financing, directly or indirectly, with or without consideration, even within the framework of cash pooling agreements. The Company may also provide guarantees or collateral to secure its obligations or the obligations of the aforementioned entities, including by way of pledge, assignment, transfer by way of security or guarantees of any kind, with or without consideration. Such financing and guarantees may be granted even if solely in the interest of third parties, or companies directly or indirectly participated by the Company, as well as their direct or indirect shareholders, or companies in which they hold a direct or indirect participation.
