The association is a scientific institute and service provider in the fields of quality development, healthcare research and clinical research. It is available to both private and public healthcare providers and institutions, as well as to policymakers, as a partner for planning and implementing projects in these areas - including the establishment and management of registries. The association offers competent consulting in all phases of projects and the possibility of taking over task packages in the areas of project development, project monitoring, data collection and management, analysis and publication. The association is an interest group and carrier of the mentioned activities. It unites representatives of the various healthcare providers and representatives of the disciplines based in applied medical, health economic and quality-related research. The goal of the association is to create efficient, transparent and reliable structures for the professionalization of quality management and research. The association also represents these goals to authorities, associations, academic institutions and the public. It can also take on tasks for third parties. To fulfill its purpose, it can collaborate with companies and other organizations, for example, within the framework of university projects. The association has exclusively non-profit goals and is politically and denominationally neutral. The association does not pursue any commercial purpose and does not strive for profit.
