The cooperative aims to provide its members with healthy and affordable housing through joint self-help and shared responsibility. It promotes community living in the sense of overall social responsibility and mutual solidarity. To achieve this goal, it: acquires building land and building rights; builds and acquires single-family and multi-family homes; maintains and periodically renovates existing buildings; constructs replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner; manages and rents apartments on a cost-rent basis; promotes cooperative activities in the settlement. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not aimed at making a profit. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with the same or similar goals. It is a member of the Swiss Association for Housing SVW.
