The cooperative aims to provide its members with healthy and affordable housing through joint self-help and co-responsibility. It seeks to achieve this purpose by acquiring building land and building rights; building and acquiring single-family and multi-family homes that meet the cooperative's modern housing needs; careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renovation of existing buildings; construction of replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner; and utilization of funding instruments under the federal housing promotion law or corresponding cantonal and communal laws. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not profit-oriented. The cooperative can participate in companies and organizations with the same or similar objectives. It is a member of the Swiss Association for Housing SVW.
