In mutual self-help and co-responsibility, provide and maintain healthy and affordable housing for its members by acquiring building land and construction rights; building and acquiring single-family and multi-family homes that meet modern cooperative housing needs; careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renovation of existing buildings; construction of replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner; utilization of funding instruments according to the federal housing promotion law and corresponding cantonal and communal laws; administration and rental of apartments on a cost-rent basis; promotion of cooperative activities in the settlements; ideal and material support of efforts aimed at affordable, healthy and good housing. New obligations: payment of a one-time entrance fee of CHF 50.-- and acquisition of cooperative shares with a total value of at least CHF 300.--. Performance of unpaid work for four hours per year or payment of a replacement fee of CHF 30.-- for unperformed hours.
