The purpose of the cooperative is to provide its members with affordable and tailored senior housing for rent. To achieve this goal, the cooperative aims to: a) Acquire building land and building rights. b) Build and acquire apartments and multi-family homes that meet modern, affordable, and age-appropriate housing needs. c) Carry out careful and ongoing maintenance and periodic renovation of existing buildings. d) Construct replacement new buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically justifiable manner. e) Utilize funding instruments under the federal Housing Promotion Act or corresponding cantonal and communal laws. f) Manage and rent out the apartments in a cost-covering manner, forming the necessary reserves. The cooperative's activities are non-profit and not driven by the pursuit of profit.
