The purpose is to provide its members with affordable and high-quality housing and to permanently remove it from speculation; this purpose can be achieved through: the acquisition of building land and building rights; the construction of residential buildings; the acquisition of existing properties; renting of properties; purposeful maintenance and renovation of properties; participation in other companies with the same or similar objectives; membership in umbrella organizations of non-profit cooperatives; sale of apartments, plots of land or properties; when selling real estate, the cooperative ensures that the buyer cannot engage in speculative transactions; for this purpose, it can reserve pre-emption, purchase and co-determination rights.
