The association aims to protect and promote the common interests of its members, particularly by participating in the solution of technical and commercial problems; representing the interests of the concrete and gravel industry, landfills, and collection and sorting site operators through constructive cooperation with authorities and other bodies of public or private law; promoting value-preserving circular economy, issuing statements, consultations, objections, and complaints, insofar as these serve the association's purpose, creating a collegial contact between the members, providing expertise and knowledge regarding the extraction, processing, and application of recyclable mineral raw materials, building materials, and products, organizing training and further education offers, and providing information on new technical, political, and economic developments. The association promotes the reputation of the cantonal gravel, stone, landfill, concrete, and recycling industry. To this end, it conducts public relations work.
