The association aims to promote a value-preserving circular economy and represent the common interests of its members. It represents the companies of the Swiss gravel and concrete industry as well as construction material recycling, including old wood utilization and contaminated site remediation, vis-à-vis authorities, media, construction industry and the public. It is authorized to submit statements, opinions, objections and complaints, to the extent that these serve the purpose of the association. The association offers its members services, consulting on technical developments and technical issues, as well as training and further education programs, and informs them about technical, political and commercial developments. It promotes contact among members and their technical expertise, as well as the knowledge of market participants regarding the extraction, processing and application of recyclable mineral raw materials, construction materials and products. It publishes guidelines, conducts industry inspections and engages in public relations. In coordination with the federal government and cantons, it ensures high quality in the extraction and production of recyclable mineral raw materials, construction materials and products.
