Post-Rock is often relegated to a niche position in many magazines and music festivals. However, behind this concise genre term lies an incredibly diverse and playful musical world. Post-Rock fans love to immerse themselves in new music - the scene, in which the board of the association also operates, is globally networked and supports each other as a community. The exchange and the pronounced feedback culture characterize this scene. The association values the in-depth engagement with this multifaceted music as an attitude that is becoming increasingly rare in the increasingly commercial industry. The goal of the association is to create a Swiss platform for Post-Rock as a musical genre and the associated scene. The association is active in the following areas: conception and organization of an annual Post-Rock festival (the bergmal Festival); organization of further concerts with representatives of the Post-Rock genre and related music directions; establishment and operation of personnel and financial structures that ensure the annual implementation of the festival and the concerts; generating attention for the Post-Rock genre, the bergmal Festival, and the concerts through audiovisual communication media via social media, press coverage, and print products; establishment of a platform for the Post-Rock scene in Switzerland. The association does not pursue commercial purposes nor does it strive for profit.
