The company is a real estate company within the meaning of Art. 59 para. 1 lit. b KAG of the Swisscanto (CH) Real Estate Fund Responsible IFCA (hereinafter referred to as the IFCA Fund). The purpose of the company is to invest the capital made available to it by the IFCA Fund in accordance with the applicable provisions (in particular the KAG, the ordinances thereto and the regulatory decrees; hereinafter the Applicable Provisions), namely the acquisition, development, construction, holding, management and administration (in particular rental, leasing, maintenance, repair, renovation and new construction), encumbrance and sale of properties for the IFCA Fund in Switzerland, project management tasks related to properties for the IFCA Fund in Switzerland, as well as corresponding advisory services. Within the framework of the Applicable Provisions, the company may acquire and exploit intellectual property, establish subsidiaries and branches, participate in other collective investment schemes and companies, and also provide financing for its own account or for the account of third parties (in particular the IFCA Fund), grant guarantees and warranties for subsidiaries and third parties (in particular the IFCA Fund), and create third-party pledges in favor of subsidiaries and third parties (in particular the IFCA Fund). Furthermore, the company may conduct all business that is directly or indirectly suitable to promote or facilitate the development of the company and the achievement of the company's purpose and the purpose of the IFCA Fund, in compliance with the Applicable Provisions.
